UK MANUFACTURING

Advantages

 

• “Made in the UK” can add   extra value to your brand
• Being closer to home means the you can visit  factories  and inspect prior to manufacturing
• You can expect better communication because   factories in UK have same working hours as yours.
• Freight costs will be much lower than ordering from an overseas factories . You also have the option of collecting yourself.

Disadvantage

 

• The UK accounts for 1.8% of the global manufacturing output. Skilled labour will be harder to come by than countries with a bigger garment manufacturing industry. This will also make it harder to access as many materials as other countries.
